The light intensity of the required light source must reach above the light compensation point required by the plant to grow normally.
Below the light compensation point, the plant grows in vain, or grows slowly; Above the light saturation point, the photosynthetic rate did not increase, and the phenomenon of light inhibition occurred, resulting in the waste of light energy. Between light intensity saturation point and light compensation point, using LED plant growth lamp to plant fruits and vegetables can promote plant photosynthesis, shorten the growth cycle, come to market 10-20 days earlier, increase production and income 20-80%, promote flower and fruit, improve fruit setting rate, prevent insects and diseases, reduce malformed fruit, and improve the taste, sweetness, quality and appearance of fruit. If the temperature, humidity, water, fertilizer and co2 concentration are all normal, the biggest reason is that the light intensity of LED plant lights is lower than the plant’s light compensation point. There are two reasons for the low light intensity:
1. LED plant lamps themselves have low luminous intensity, so the solution is to replace or add lamps
2. LED plant lamps themselves have high luminous intensity, but they are too far away from the plants, so that the light intensity reaches the leaf surface and is lower than the plant’s light compensation point. Solution: Lower the height of the lamp.

The intensity of photosynthesis of any crop is closely related to the intensity of light.
